"I am fascinated by the intrinsic decorativeness of what I see all around me, and am strongly attracted to the natural beauty of Southern Vancouver Island and the neighbouring Gulf Islands. Much of the time I respond to the vibrant energies of what I feel as well as the image."
"I work with acrylic and watercolour paints, as well as free-flowing ink and wash. Papier-Mâché pieces of all shapes and sizes are a speciality and can be seen in Ganges on Saltspring Island as well as other places on Vancouver Island."
Kristin also produces Specialty Cards for all occasions; small prints which feature the sea and the islands sitting in it, flowers in all their glory, funky memorable places hanging out in pretty little corners, and the BAAAAAAArt series of cards with the "Ewe" sheep and other amusing characters.
